Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all goods and services supplied by Yellow Stone Installations (YSI) via the website (www.ysin.co.za), quotations, invoices, and direct purchases.
This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. General
1.1 Returns will only be considered if proof of purchase is provided.
1.2 All returns are subject to inspection and approval by YSI.
1.3 Goods must be returned in their original packaging where applicable.

8.2 Refunds will only be made via EFT into the original payer’s bank account.

9.1 If an order is cancelled after payment but before goods are ordered or dispatched, YSI may refund the amount paid minus any administration fees.
9.2 If goods have been ordered, dispatched, or delivered, cancellation may result in supplier cancellation fees and restocking charges.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all products sold and delivered by Yellow Stone Installations (YSI) (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our website (www.ysin.co.za), quotations, invoices, and direct orders.
1. Delivery Areas
1.1 YSI delivers within South Africa.
1.2 Certain products or services may only be available in specific areas depending on courier availability and installation service zones.
1.3 YSI reserves the right to decline delivery to high-risk or restricted areas.
2. Delivery Timeframes
2.1 Delivery timeframes provided are estimates and are dependent on stock availability and courier performance.

6.1 Deliveries will be considered complete once signed for by the Client or any person at the delivery address.
6.2 It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
7. Damaged or Missing Goods
7.1 The Client must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
7.2 Any damages, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported to YSI within 24 hours of delivery.
7.3 If the Client fails to report issues within 24 hours, the delivery will be deemed accepted.
8. Failed Deliveries
8.1 If a delivery attempt fails due to the Client not being available, incorrect address details, or restricted access, the Client may be liable for re-delivery fees.
8.2 YSI is not responsible for incorrect delivery details provided by the Client.
9. Risk and Ownership
9.1 Risk transfers to the Client upon delivery and signature/acceptance.
9.2 Ownership of goods remains with YSI until paid for in full.

Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to all products supplied and/or installed by Yellow Stone Installations (YSI).
1. Workmanship Warranty
1.1 YSI provides a workmanship warranty of 6 (six) months from the date of installation completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
1.2 The workmanship warranty covers faults directly related to installation performed by YSI.
1.3 All warranties and workmanship guarantees provided by YSI are conditional upon full and final payment being received. Should the Client fail to make payment in full by the due date, all warranties, guarantees, support, and maintenance obligations will be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.
2. Manufacturer Product Warranty
2.1 All equipment supplied by YSI carries the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
2.2 Warranty periods differ depending on the product brand and type.
2.3 Manufacturer warranty claims are subject to supplier inspection and approval.

7.1 Batteries are sensitive to installation conditions, load usage, and charging patterns.

8.1 Solar system output and backup performance depend on sunlight, weather conditions, battery capacity, and load consumption.
8.2 YSI does not guarantee uninterrupted power supply during poor weather, extended outages, or excessive loads.
